ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS
This is a true survivor Acapulco Blue Big Block 390 Mach 1 which is buck tagged with a GT option package along with
a deluxe white luxury interior . There is said to have been less than 1500 S code Mach 1 's built for 1969 making
this Mach 1 a very rare collector find !
The history of this particular Mach 1 is as follows . It's original Connecticut owner drove the car for a little
under 40, 000 miles till around 1984 . At that time the car sat in storage for the next 20 years until the second
owner bought it in 2004 and proceeded to repaint the car in it's original color and add new carpet in the interior
along with a new headliner . Mechanical R& R was also preformed including new brakes and power steering repairs .
In 2008 the car was sold to it's 3rd owner who continued to maintain the car with new suspension parts including
rear springs and bushings , shocks, brake calipers , tune up as well as a new Holley four bbl carb and engine bay
dress up . Less than 5000 miles have been driven by the past 2 owners .
All receipts are included along with the original 4bbl carburetor .
This Mach has never undergone a full restoration . It retains it's original rust free sheet metal . The paint is
older and shows it's age with the patina that can be expected ( paint touch ups and a few dings as shown in photos
below ) .The interior is in great condition and everything functions , even the Clock and Rim Blow steering wheel !
The drive train is solid . The motor starts cold with a pump of the gas pedal and warms to a smooth but aggressive
idle . The car drives at 60 mph with ease and the C6 transmission shifts smooth and solid with an easy second gear
tire chirp ! The brakes are in great condition and will stop you with confidence . All the suspension and front end
joints are up to date and perform very well .
Here is a piece of Mustang History that is amongst the most sort after Models that exist today . This is for sure a
time capsule item and is one very attractive and desirable color combinations . White interiors are rare to find !
This as stated wears a buck tag that states it is Mach with a GT package and is confirmed by Marti in the engine
code as 390 4bbl GT .
*The car is missing the driver side rocker molding and has been ordered and will be put on before the car gets sold
. *
Again , I express this is an unrestored original survivor and is in great condition for a 47 year old car. It can
be driven daily or for leisure . To have a perfect Restored Car you will have a genuine Rare Mach 1 to make a
perfect Show Car with this one !
